Tackling a dock build is a complex endeavor and a relatively big investment - I assure you, based on our experience, you can trust Summertime!

They took each suggestion in stride, and made changes I needed to accommodate requests from my spouse (super important). I really appreciated their speed and efficiency as well. Once we moved to the lake, I was ready to start fishing. My neighbors were blown away by the quality and quickness of the build. I appreciated their willingness to listen to my suggestions, but to also steer me in the right direction when my ideas would create unforeseen problems that I had not thought of. I could not be more pleased with my Dock and the work that Summertime did. I was told there was a 6 month waiting list and and was a bit… read more skeptical about putting the deposit down and then have delays. They communicated well, and ended up starting just one week after the 6 month period expired. The also finished on time, and passed inspection without any issue. I was pleased from the initial design process to completion/inspection/current. I did receive 4 other quotes, and Summertime was right in the middle of the pack from a price standpoint - but was much more comfortable with their contract verbiage and overall perception. I went with the composite trex picture frame and and black metal roof and it looks fantastic. My new neighbor loved my dock and asked who did it- contacted Summertime but didn't want to wait on the list. He hired another company with no wait, and he has now had to redo it (and roof) three times - and took longer than if he had waited. After the first time whole corner was sinking, and roof did not pass inspection twice. He also had to replace motor and cables on his. It is worth the wait to have a good company like Summertime do it right. I also upgraded to a larger/heavier boat after the dock was complete, and needed stronger cables on the boat lift. They had a couple guys come out and re-cable it within a week for $400. Other quotes I got were all just over $1,000 and one for $800. I have been told by many friends on the lake that I have the best dock - and I agree. I have referred/recommended Summertime to other friends. It could not have turned our better and is certainly my "happy place" on my property.
